FIBA Europe youth basketball draw 2012
U18 European Championships Women
Division A, Division B groups


FIBA Europe international youth basketball jamborees for U18 players born on are after 1 January 1994 will be held between 26th July 2012 and 5th August 2012.

For the second year running the U18 European Championship Division A for Women event will be held in Timisioara in Romania.

The Division B event which will have 18 teams this year will be staged in Strumica in Macedonia.

In 2011 the event was sponsored by Global Vision and France lost in the final to Belgium.

In 2012, the first five teams from the Division A tournament will qualify for the 2013 U19 FIBA World Championship for Women.

Lithuania and Ukraine were relegated from Division A and have been replaced by Croatia and Greece.

18 nations will contest the Division B championship with 2 groups of 4 teams and 2 groups of 5 teams. Montenegro and Scotland did not take part in 2011 and are the additional nations for 2012.
