For the 14th season of the Ligue Féminine de Basket in France - which tips off with the traditional Open LFB in Paris - womensbasketball-in-france.com provides full coverage of the events with links to all our stories on this page.

All the links to our LFB coverage from the previous seasons can be found by clicking on the year links on the right side of this page.
The regular season format remains unchanged. That is all the teams play each other twice for a 26-round regular season.
However the play-off system has been modified slightly with just 4 teams in the Challenge Round instead of previously 8 teams. This means that the teams that finish below 8th place have no post season. The teams that finish in 13th and 14 place are relegated.

Le principe des playoffs reste le même et se poursuit avec les 4 équipes de la phase régulière, ça veut dire le premier dans le classement joue le 4ème classé avec un match retour chez le mieux classé, le 2ème classé joue contre le 3ème, aussi avec un match retour chez le mieux classé.
Le Challenge Round a été modifié car il n'y a que 4 équipes qui y participent. Ce sont les formations qui terminent 5ème à 8ème pendant la phase régulière. Celles qui se classent de la 9ème et plus bas n'ont plus de playoffs.
Comme d'habitude 2 équipes sont reléguées en LF2 qui se classent 13ème et 14ème pendant la phase régulière.
