Léon Trégor Basket 29 is the youngest team in the Ligue Féminine 2. It was created in May 2011 and is actually a union of the basketball clubs from Pleyber-Christ and Landerneau.

In order to develop a more professional structure for women's basketball in Brittany, the project Léon Trégor Basket 29 was born. The number 29 represents the French department Finistère.
By combining the resources of both clubs the Léon Trégor Basket 29 meets all the structural requirements of the Ligue Féminine 2 and more importantly of the directors.
With just three core players from last season the former club of Pleyber-Christ have a completely new roster for LF2 of the incoming season.
Franck Simon stays as coach and Aude Kernevez remains as captain. Marie Butard and Marie-Julie Levant return for a second season with Simon.
Charlène Gélébart continues her development in the youth academy and is the fourth player under 23 in the team. Furthermore Emilie Croguennec makes up the roster while also playing for the second team.
L'effectif de Léon Trégor Basket 29 pour la saison 2011-2012
Pleyber-Christ entra en union avec le club de Landereau pour devenir Léon Trégor Basket 29. L'objectif de ce projet Finistérien est tenir compte des exigences de la ligue féminine 2 sportivement et financièrement en continuant de former ses jeunes du centre d'entraînement.
Le coach Franck Simon créa donc une nouvelle équipe dont seulement:
le capitaine Aude Kernevez, Marie Butard et Marie-Julie Levant restent. Charlène Gélébart continue son développement en tant que jeune joueuse et est aussi la quatrième de moins de 23 ans. Emilie Croguennec est ajouté à l'effectif en jouant aussi pour la deuxième équipe.
