The LFB is the one professional league for women playing basketball in France.
Only in the French Cup the Ligue Féminine de BasketBall plays against clubs from lower divisions.
As Nationale Féminine 1 (NF1) is growing, from the
2008-2009 season onwards, all the articles on their league appear separately in the
LF2 - Ligue Féminine 2 section.
