Nantes-Rezé used a 9-0 run at the end of the third quarter to finally take command of the game (48-42). Nantes stayed in front the rest of the way to win the match (66-54) and the series 2-0. Johanne Gomis (in picture) and Sarah Michel both scored 15 points for Nantes-Rezé while Caroline Aubert added 14 points. For Tarbes Paoline Salagnac and Maja Miljkovic scored 13 and 11 points each in defeat. This victory means for Nantes-Rezé that they have qualified for the 2013 EuroCup Women competition, while Tarbes will have to wait to know if they will play in Europe next season. Amisha Carter (in picture) was everywhere for Hainaut Basket. She scored 33 points, picked up 10 defensive rebounds in her total of 11 rebounds while also drawing 10 fouls to complete her triple double. |
