Nantes-Rezé dominated Lattes Montpellier in the 2010 LFB Challenge Round series
The first match of the LFB Challenge round final came to an end for Pauline Krawczyk who damaged her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and other parts of her knee with just under nine minutes played.
Nantes-Rezé were leading at the time (14-12). The game was stopped while she was treated. They still finished the first quarter leading (16-13).
Constance Jinks and Khadijah Whittington brought Montpellier back on level terms. But Lindsay Taylor and Mame-Marie Sy-Diop quickly restored the advantage to Nantes-Rezé (26-19) with 13 minutes played.
Gaëlle Skrela and Sylvie Gruszczynski took over the offensive duties for Montpellier as they forced their way back into the game to go into the locker room level (32-32).
After the break Nantes stepped on the accelerator with Leslie Ardon and Kathleen MacLeod opening up a 10-point lead.
Taylor was everywhere for Nantes as they finished the quarter with an advantage of 13 points (56-43).
Nantes maintained the pressure all through the final 10 minutes and had a maximum lead of 18 points.
The final score (74-59) gave Nantes-Rezé a 15-point head start for the final match of the LFB Challenge Round.
