The semi-finalists for the LFB Challenge Round are Challes-les-Eaux, USO Mondeville, SJS Reims and Union Hainaut Basket.
SJS Reims were the last team to qualify for the semi-final despite falling (72-81) to Cob Calais in the second leg of their series.
Lina Brazdeïkyte (right) led the scoring for Calais with 25 points and Mariame Dia followed up with 19 points.
Reims were never in trouble of losing all of their advantage from the first leg with a success rate of 62% shooting from the field. They only took 45 shots during the game.
The next round of matches start on Tuesday, 28 April 2009.

Mondeville lost but still qualified
For Aix-en-Provence the 2009 Challenge Round came to an end with a victory. They beat Mondevillle (73-60) with Hollie Grima scoring 24 points and picking up 10 rebounds. K. B. Sharp fired in 15 points and dished out 5 assists.
However Mondeville qualified for the semi-final after winning the first match by 22 points.
Mondeville started the game well and led (22-15) after the first period and led by as many as 9 points during the second period. Aix finished the first half stronger and trailed by just 2 points at the interval (34-36).
Aix started to take control during the third period and went ahead into the final quarter (51-47).
They continued to dominate the match but Mondeville were no in danger of losing their overall advantage.
Asptt Arras went into the match leading by 7 points but with Julie Bertin injured and Bernice Mosby already in America, their roster was thin.
To make things more complicated Leilani Mitchell suffered an injury to her back and Julie Barennes hurt her ankle before the second leg.
Not withstanding Challes-les-Eaux played well and took control of the game from the tip-off and ran out winners thanks to their captain Martina Gyurcsi-Luptakova who compiled a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Challes-les-Eaux will meet UHB in the second semi-final.
