Bourges Basket made it four wins in the LFB after beating Mondeville (77-53) in the top match of the weekend. Ilona Burgrova (left) scored the first 10 points for Bourges as they built up an early lead (10-2) with a little over five minutes played. Mondeville's first-quarter misery continued and by the end of the first quarter they trailed (7-20). Mondeville had the better of the second quarter and reduced their deficit to 3 points at one stage. Bourges Basket finished the first half by a late burst with scores from Anaël Lardy, Styliani Kaltsidou and Cathy Joens to go into the locker room leading (30-21). Bourges controlled the second half of the match with all 10 players getting on the score sheet. Jennifer Digbeu finished the game as top scorer with 16 points. Charleville-Mézières recorded their first victory of the season by defeating Aix-en-Provence at home (70-56). Kristen Mann was one of five players in double digits with 19 points while Djéné Diawara picked up her first double double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Hollie Grima fired in 24 points and picked up 10 rebounds in vain for Aix. Lattes-Montpellier beat a diminished Arras (58-47) with 16 points coming from Alicia Porto. Ana Cata-Chitiga's 22 points helped Tarbes get past Cob Calais (77-67). The pace of the game dropped after an electrifying first quarter that had Tarbes leading (32-23). Challes-les-Eaux ended the perfect start to the Basket Landes season with a (69-50) victory with 19 points coming from Clarisse Costaz while UHB recorded their first victory of the season (74-47) against Toulouse. Caroline Aubert waited until the final quarter before releasing two big three-pointers from down-town as Nantes-Rezé sneaked past Villeneuve d'Ascq in the dying seconds (60-55) in the closing LFB game from round four.
