With 10 games played so far in the regular season, it is time to look at the winners and losers of the first part of the season.
With the news that the Ligue Féminine de Basketball may drop to 12 teams for the next season (2015-2016) due to a change in the EuroBasket Women 2017 qualification series, it is important for teams to avoid finishing in the bottom four places at the end of the season.

Despite their efforts and improvements, COB Calais still remain fixed at the bottom with no victories. Despite 22 points from Jasmin Hasell, Calais were unable to hold off Villeneuve d'Ascq (63-71).
Hainaut Basket are also having a hard time with just two victories and a long injury list. Florine Basque is the latest player on the list while Adja Konteh is yet to return to action.
Anger showed no mercy with a (89-69) victory against Hainaut. Camille Aubert helped herself to 11 assists which matched the total for Hainaut Basket. Rebecca Tobin followed up with her second consecutive double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Lyon and Nantes-Rezé are amongst the early LFB season losers with just 3 wins to their name.
Lyon could do nothing against current leaders Basket Landes, whose bench's scoring is almost as good as the starting five. Julie Barennes, who always starts from the bench, and Kamilla Stepanova combined for 26 points.
Montpellier who are currently in third place, paced themselves over Nantes-Rezé (59-48). Mistie Bass and Valériane Ayayi were the top scorers with 17 and 16 points respectively.
So for the moment the LFB bottom teams are COB Calais, Hainaut Basket, Lyon BF and Nantes-Rezé.
In the middle of the table Charleville-Mézières, USO Mondeville and Toulouse Métropole all have four wins so far.
Toulouse, driven by the leading candidate for LFB player of the season, Olivia Epoupa (23 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals) pulled off a surprise road win over Tarbes (79-73). Alexandria Bentley who took over 30% of Tarbes' shots finished the game with 28 points.
Charleville-Mézières lost away to Arras (69-80). Once again Olayinka Sanni - who was by far the best player for Charleville with 23 points (27 minutes) - fouled out of the game. Arras on the other hand had five players in double digits and connected with 59% of their shots.
USO Mondeville - without the injured Sandra Dijon-Gérardin - had nobody able to guard Danielle Adams (20 points) from Bourges and were beaten (56-78).
With Bourges playing one game less than Basket Landes they remain comfortable in second place in the regular season standings. The other winners from this phase of the competition are Villeneuve d'Ascq and Arras with seven victories each.
