FIBA Europe released the names of the starters for the EuroLeague Women All Star Game in an earlier communiqué. Amongst the 14 other players selected to participate in this match is Bourges Basket captain and French international Emméline Ndongue (left). She will join Sandrine Gruda, the other French player selected, to represent Europe. In the official announcement released by FIBA Europe titled "EuroLeague Women All-Star Game subs announced", it was explained that the selection of all players was based on the internet public vote. The coaches and assistants for the two teams have also been confirmed and are: The head coach from Ros Casares Isma Cantó coaches Europe and be assisted by Lotos Gdynia head coach Jacek Winnicki. For the Rest of the World team Spartak Moscow Region's head coach Pokey Chatman coaches the team and be assisted by SSSE AZS-PWSZ Gorzow head coach Dariusz Maciejewski. The 12 players to play for Europe with the starters in bold are: Nevriye Yilmaz, Fenerbahce (Center) Anete Jekabsone-Zogota, Spartak Moscow Region Vidnoje (Guard/Forward) Coach: Isma Cantó and Assistant Coach: Jacek Winnicki The 12 players to play for the Rest of the World with the starters in bold are: Diana Taurasi, Spartak Moscow (Guard) Lindsay Whalen, ZVVZ USK Prague (Point Guard) Coach: Pokey Chatman and Assistant Coach: Dariusz Maciejewski Three-Point shooting contestFour players have been pre-selected for the contest: Agnieszka Bibrzycka, Anete Jekabsone-Zogota, Catherine Joens and Penny Taylor.
