Dynamo Kursk came into the second game with a 9-point lead from game one (71-62). Dynamo Kursk appeared to have everything in control with a (9-2) lead with four minutes played. BC Chevakata then responded with what turned out to be their best sequence in the game to go ahead after a 10-2 run (12-10) with eight minutes played. It took a three-pointer by Gunta Basko-Melnbarde for the hosts to get the lead back at the end of the first quarter (14-12). Driven by Temeka Johnson Dynamo Kursk were able to put the series out of the reach of BC Chevakata with a strong second quarter to go in front (36-24) for a 21-point aggregate lead going into the locker room. Despite poor shooting from both sides the rest of the way, Dynamo had total control and were never in danger of losing the aggregate advantage. They paced themselves to victory. Johnson who top scored with 18 points for Dynamo Kursks also had 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Her team-mate Anna Petrakova was the leading scorer with 19 points. All the other players used in the game got onto the score sheet with at least 2 points in the (59-51) victory. BC Chevakata were also eliminated in the semi-final last season by Arras. They had a poor shooting day with 30% success. They were just 2-of-17 from beyond the arc. Svetlana Makhlina and Jessica Davenport with 9 points each led the scoring. Dynamo Kursk will play the winner of the semi-final between Kayseri Kaskispor against Botas Sports Club. Dynamo had played Kayseri Kaskispor twice in the group phase and came away with the victory each time. Kayseri have a 12-point advantage going into their semi-final second leg.
